The large number of giant, gaping ventilation holes and the reduced contact on the inside of this helmet due to large channels in the foam that help guide air across my head are a huge plus. This helmet gets an A+ for being cool and lightweight. My head is on the large side for a woman -larger than my husband's head. When I first pulled this out of the box, it looked so tiny, I wasn't sure it would work, but it is quite adjustable and covers the parts of my head that need protection according to the manual. Last year I had a bad crash and concussion. My Giro Skyla helmet was cracked and my head was not! End of story. It's also very lightweight for the cost. In my opinion there's no need to spend more on a great, road biking helmet. |
